We Love What We Do

As a foundation we started several years ago from our back yard by offering hampers, bread and staple proteins to locals in Kwa Mashu.
As time picked up these efforts converted to hampers to 50 families (approximately 250 people).

As of now we currently service 800 hampers (4000 people) on a monthly basis in Kwa Mashu and feed hot meals to around 500 families in Cape Town.
We recently adopted some costs with an old age home in Lenasia – approximately 250 elderlies.

Off late in February we went to Turkey immediately after the 1st earthquake where the foundation offered assistance to 3000 people by supporting them with basic essentials. It was devastating to see the earthquake damages and destruction.

On my return er decided to put a team together with some volunteers and head back to Turkey, this time to include Syria as well.
With God’s grace we touched 8500 families in 2 camps, visited 2 orphanages, helped 100’s of elderly and gave out hamper boxes worth $30 each to these people. We were also very heartbroken on seeing the living condition of the people in Syria at the camps. Kids with no clothes, no underwear, no shoes etc. Our foundation then included these necessary items to service the orphanages with these basic essentials.

As a team we stayed in the camps, in containers and ourselves felt the pain and sufferings that these people go through and will continue to for the next few years.

Both the earthquakes and the war has put both these countries at least 10 years behind.

Poverty increases and hardships deepen. Lives are capsized and the new norm now is staying alive.

For some of these people income is not even possible as there is nothing available for miles on end.

As a foundation we plan to revisit these sites and afford all and any sort of assistance. Off late some corporate sponsors have come on board. We thankful for this.

Our vision is to ensure continuous support to both local and international humanitarian aid.
With the devastation in Sudan, we are now liaising with the WHO and local relief bodies to assist with both cash and kind.

Some local activities include providing assistance to the Emmanuel church, Kwa Mashu mosques, 2 soup kitchens, and many hundreds of local unemployed women.

Our need for assistance and initiatives includes the following:
1. Monetary contributions to purchase the basics needed
2. Social media exposure through your networks to boost the awareness of the foundation and by default the need to assist
3. Campaigns through your partner organisations and networks to work with the foundation do the following:
A. Restore living conditions at local and international orphanage’s
B. Restore local schools and international institutions
C. Physical assistance in sponsorship of hampers and the distribution of this to local people
D. Raise funds and fund raisers event (planning and assisting with costs / event management)
F. Sponsor fun runs and the need rise against hunger
G. Education facilitation on bursaries locally
H. Working with local societies and organisations against woman and children abuse
I. Assistance in drug and abuse upliftment

All the above require support in one form or the other and as a foundation we request corporates and all business minded people together with those who care for others to join us on this mission to make a change in people’s lives.

We hoping you can by assisting us to reach the correct audiences and support us with any of the initiatives. It could be that your organisation has other initiatives we can partner with and we all open to drive success to the foundation.

Several years ago, our foundation began its journey from our own backyard in Kwa Mashu, providing hampers, bread, and staple proteins to the local community. Over time, our efforts grew, and we started offering hampers to 50 families, which benefited approximately 250 people.

Currently, we are serving 800 hampers (equivalent to 4000 people) on a monthly basis in Kwa Mashu, and we also provide hot meals to around 500 families in Cape Town. Moreover, we have recently extended our support to an old age home in Lenasia, assisting approximately 250 elderly individuals.

In February, following the devastating earthquake in Turkey, our foundation immediately provided assistance to 3000 people by supplying them with basic essentials. Witnessing the damages and destruction caused by the earthquake was truly heartbreaking.

Upon my return, we decided to assemble a team of volunteers and return to Turkey, this time also including Syria. With the grace of God, we reached out to 8500 families in two camps, visited two orphanages, helped hundreds of elderly individuals, and distributed hamper boxes worth $30 each to those in need. Witnessing the living conditions of the people in the Syrian camps, where children lacked clothes, underwear, and shoes, was especially heart-wrenching. Consequently, our foundation began including these necessary items in our support to the orphanages.

As a team, we lived in the camps, residing in containers, and experienced firsthand the pain and suffering endured by these people, which will likely continue for years to come. Both the earthquakes and the war have set these countries back at least 10 years. Poverty has increased, hardships have deepened, and the new normal for many is simply surviving. For some, earning an income is not even feasible, as resources are scarce for miles on end.

As a foundation, we are committed to revisiting these sites and providing any form of assistance possible. Recently, we have been fortunate to have corporate sponsors join us, and we are sincerely grateful for their support.

Our vision is to ensure ongoing support for both local and international humanitarian aid. In light of the devastation in Sudan, we are currently collaborating with the World Health Organization (WHO) and local relief organizations to offer financial contributions and necessary supplies.

Locally, our activities include providing assistance to the Emmanuel Church, Kwa Mashu mosques, two soup kitchens, and hundreds of unemployed women in the community.

We have identified several areas where assistance and initiatives are needed, including:

Monetary contributions to purchase essential items
Social media exposure through your networks to raise awareness about our foundation and the need for assistance
Collaborating with your partner organizations and networks to:
A. Restore living conditions in local and international orphanages
B. Restore local schools and international institutions
C. Physically assist in sponsoring hampers and distributing them to the local community
D. Organize and support fundraising events, including event planning and cost management
E. Sponsor fun runs and campaigns against hunger
F. Facilitate education by providing local bursaries
G. Collaborate with local societies and organizations to combat abuse against women and children
H. Support drug and abuse rehabilitation initiatives
All of the above initiatives require support in various forms. As a foundation, we appeal to corporations, business-minded individuals, and those who genuinely care about making a difference in people’s lives to join us on this mission.

We hope that you can assist us in reaching the right audiences and support any of these initiatives. If your organization has other programs or initiatives that align with our mission, we are open to partnerships and working together to achieve success for the foundation.
